Each month, we will get a hold of a KAPS member for a short interview so that we can better get to know them. This month, we caught up with Jiin Son.

1. Please introduce yourself in 3 sentences
I grew up in Seoul, came to US for graduate school, moved SF in 2001, and love SF so far. SF has a little bit of everything; I can still enjoy cultural things - not as much as NY, but still good , exhibitions, etc; can enjoy natural things within a few hours drive - the beach, skiing, hiking; and enjoy diversity cultures. Currently, I'm building up a foundation so that hopefully, in the near future, I can do what I love - being with family, hanging out with friends, traveling around, making changes...
2. What do you do for a living?
My full time job is a landscape architect/ Urban designer, but in my spare time I become a real estate investor and an entrepreneur.
3. What do you hope to get out of KAPS?
Of course, hanging out with friends and meet new people!
