A CELEBRATION OF HANBOK - KACC FASHION SHOW

The Korean Art and Culture Committee of the Asian Art Museum and Chong-Moon Lee Center for Asian Art and Culture would like to invite you to a very special event - A Celebration of Hanbok

On Thursday, October 9th, the beautiful Samsung Hall in the Asian Art Museum will be converted to a runway for models and actresses from Korea to present a modern Hanbok fashion show alongside premier fashion designer, Kim Hye-soon. The modern hanbok has gotten a lot of attention in Korea and Asia, in general, and has recently started to come West (Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Sandra Oh, and even Hillary
Clinton is wearing them).

The event will feature at 6:00 - Hanbok Fashion Show by Designer Kim Hye-soon and 7:00 pm Evening Reception with congratulatory remarks by Consul General Bon-woo Koo) at the Asian Art Museum, 200 Larkin Street, San Francisco.
