Each month, we will get a hold of a KAPS member for a short interview so that we can better get to know them. This month, we caught up with 2007 member of the year Sangman Kim.

1. Give us a 3 sentence introduction

I AM SANGMAN! Oh wait you said three sentences... Oops!

2. What do you do for a living?

I work as a chemist at a biotech company. I'm basically like a bartender but I have a science degree so they have to pay me more. I am also declaring for the 2008 NBA draft , so starting next September, hopefully I will be playing for the Boston Celtics.

3. Why did you join KAPS?

To meet hot noonas! Just joking. It is an excellent opportunity to network and a good way to participate in a wide range of activities that I wouldn't be able to otherwise. Just last year, we volunteered at a food bank, built houses for habitat for humanity, listened to a presentation on personal finance, went snowboarding in Tahoe, and drank a LOT of alcohol at Kappy Hours/wine-tasting/parties. Plus the hot noonas…

4. How did it feel to be honored with the 2007 KAPS Member of the year award? What are you going to do next?

How do you think it felt? TOTALLY AWESOME!

Next, I am going to be the 2008 KAPS member of the year!!! Just a word of warning to all you aspiring KAPS member of the year's – as long as I am around, outlook=bleak.

5. What is the proudest moment in your life?

What is this, a rhetorical question? Obviously when I won 2007 KAPS member of the year!

6. What do you do in your free time?

I like eating. Like a lot. I also enjoy consuming non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. I love playing and watching sports. I love to read and wish I had more time to do so.

7. If you could have one super power what would it be? It can't be "Having more super powers"

I would have the power to cause world peace and end poverty and global warming. What do the ladies in the crowd think of that?

8. Now for a serious question... which presidential candidate do you support? Why?

Obama '08!!! Everything that I've read about him and all of the speeches and debates that I've seen attest to the fact that not only is he a great orator, but a man of great intelligence, integrity, and poise. I also like the idea that Americans are open-minded enough to embrace a candidate that is half black, and I believe that if he wins the presidency, it will be a positive step forward for all minorities in the US. Plus he looks damn good in a bathing suit.

9. Fill in the blank: "I fear ________"

NOTHING!!!!!! (Except for mediocrity, rejection, death, and bugs. Bugs are gross.)

10. I have 2 coins in my hand totaling up to 15 cents. One of them is not a nickel. What are the 2 coins in my hand?

Ohh I've heard this one before!!! One isn't a nickel so the other one is! Also you have a quarter.
