The 2008 KAPS Kickoff meeting was a blast! All who attendede were able to learn about KAPS, sign up for upcoming events, meet new people, grab free food and drinks, and have a good time overall. The highlight of the evening was a Personal Finance 101 workshop presented by John Kim, a financial planner and one of the co-founders of KAPS. John shared the basics of how money works, ways to save for retirement and still have fun now, and tips on investing. A big THANK YOU to John for taking his time to coming talk to our members.
