Ring in the new year with the KAPS Kick Off Meeting on Thursday, January 21st at 7:30pm! See old friends and meet new ones as you learn more about what KAPS has in store for 2010. We have lots of exciting events planned and new staff members to introduce to you.

Come hit the slopes with KAPS!
KAPS is having another EPIC ski trip that you don’t want to miss out on! We will be staying in a luxurious cabin complete with washer/dryer, high-speed access internet, 3 TVs, and a Nintendo Wii located close to the gorgeous Kirkwood Ski Resort. The stay is going to be 3-days and 2-nights, on March 19th - 21st. Pricing is now set at $80 for members and $90 for nonmembers (not including lift tickets and gas reimbursement). Based on number of sign-ups we may be able to get a group discount on lift tickets, so bring along some friends (even if they want to be lame and miss out on the awesome cabin, at least they can still be semi-cool and hang with us on the slopes)
Attention drivers! You get a sweet deal, if you plan on driving others up. But since we only need 4-6 drivers make sure you let us know asap if you want in on the driver discount. This is going to be legen…wait for it…DARY, so come join us in all the fun-filled glory only KAPS and Tahoe can bring to you!

COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS: UPCOMING EVENTS
KAPS would like to kick off the new year by serving the community. Please join us on Saturday, 1/30/10 from 9am - 12pm at Glide Memorial to pack bagged lunches.
Can't make this event? KAPS is still partnering with the SF Food Bank and will be volunteering again on 2/20/10 from 9am - 12pm.

INTERESTED IN GETTING MORE INVOLVED IN KAPS?
KAPS is always on the lookout for people interested in getting the most out of their KAPS experience. We are looking for volunteers to plan social events, coordinate community service events, serve as guest speakers, monitor the website, and improve the overall KAPS member experience. We are also looking for contributors to our newsletters and website, in the form of job postings, professional advice, and relevant news.
If you are interested in becoming an officer, contributing to newsletters, or assisting with an event, please contact andrew@kaps.org.
