KOLLABORATION SF 2010: CALLING ALL TALENTS!
Kollaboration San Francisco is holding a talent competition and we want you and your group's members to audition! Kollaboration is an official non-profit organization and an annual talent showcase specifically for the empowerment of the Asian American community. It has been established for several years in cities like LA, NYC, Chicago, Houston, and more, and has finally arrived in the beautiful and talented SF Bay Area - home to the country's 3rd largest Asian American population!
Kollaboration’s mission and efforts have been focused on encouraging the Asian American community to express themselves artistically and break through media stereotypes while coming together as a community. We are hosting our first annual show on Saturday, April 10th at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, where we hope to feature amazing local talent in all genres. The show will basically be a talent competition with a grand prize of $1000. There will also be other cash prizes for audience favorites and freestyle competitions.
We want you to join our movement by:
1. Auditioning
2. Spreading the word to the community and local talent encouraging them to audition
3. Attending our April show and volunteering
If you want to audition, go to our website and fill out the form at: http://kollaborationsf.org/audition.php by Jan 7th. If you are selected, we will invite you to our live audition on Saturday, January 23rd. For details please refer to our website.

JOB POSTING: PART-TIME TEACHERS NEEDED
Summit College Prep is an educational services entity located in Berkeley that provides SAT preparation classes, college application guidance, consultation for extra curricular activities and college majors, along with tutoring for school subjects such as math and English.
We are looking for qualified teachers to help us expand our existing offerings. We offer great opportunities for anyone interested in earning part-time income, getting teaching experience, and/or making a difference in the lives of young students.
Since founded by two UC Berkeley graduates in late 2004, Summit College Prep has helped hundreds of high school students reach their maximum potential in both the SAT Reasoning Test (previously known as SAT I) and SAT Subject Tests (previously known as SAT II). Summit College Prep has also been successful in helping a select group of junior high students become elite students in their respective high school by focusing on their strengths to stir academic interest.
With the support of our parents, students and local community, we are proud to inform you that Summit College Prep is expanding to a new level of entity with variety of classes, to better serve our teenagers academically and nurture them culturally.
We would like to offer as many classes as possible that will enrich our students’ experiences – fine arts, video/computer game programming, music, traditional/modern dance, chemistry, physics, biology, economics, entrepreneurship, legal studies, career adaptability programs, math, English, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean, as well as SAT preparation classes.
We do realize that this task won’t be easily accomplished and we ask for your help – please join us for this exciting opportunity to make differences in young lives! Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Any expertise will be considered to create an educational opportunity.
If you or someone you know is interested in teaching, please contact Soojin Jang at Soojin.Jang@gmail.com or 510 717 7751.
We look forward to bringing you on to the Summit College Prep team!
