We would like to officially announce the commencement of KAPS Los Angeles to all KAPS members in the Bay Area. KAPS LA is based in Los Angeles with members spanning from all over Southern California. July 1st marked our First Official Launch Meeting at the Ramada Hotel in Koreatown. It was a huge success with over 30 future KAPS LA members in attendance with an openness and willingness to learn, meet new people and share their ideas.
We are currently working on recruiting enthusiastic and talented people in the Southern California area who are looking to contribute to our organization and make a difference in the community. Through hard work, communication and persistence we hope to one day duplicate the success that KAPS has had over the last decade.
We would like to extend a 'HUGE THANK YOU' to Andrew Ko, Jean Park and all the other great KAPS members in the Bay Area for their continued guidance and support throughout this process. None of this would have been possible without their help.
Please continue to support us by signing up for the KAPS LA groups page on Facebook. If you know of any bright-minded, enthusiastic individuals who are living in Southern California and would be interested in joining our organization please have them send an email to kaps.losangeles@gmail.com

SEOUL TRAIN DOCUMENTARY SCREENING
With its riveting footage of a secretive "underground railroad," SEOUL TRAIN is the gripping documentary exposé into the life and death of North Koreans as they try to escape their homeland and China. SEOUL TRAIN also delves into the complex geopolitics behind this growing and potentially explosive humanitarian crisis. By combining vérité footage, personal stories and interviews with experts and government officials, SEOUL TRAIN depicts the flouting of international laws by major countries, the inaction and bureaucracy of the United Nations, and the heroics of activists that put themselves in harm's way to save the refugees.

Where: Lifehouse Covenant Church, 700 4th Ave, San Francisco, CA
