EUGEAPALOOZA - FUNDRAISER FOR SF FOOD BANK
It's officially summer and we're bringing out the grill -- well, sort of. A group a KAPS members will be attending Eugeapalooza on Saturday, July 11th from 12pm - 4pm to hang out, eat great BBQ, and meet new people. Eugeaepalooza, now officially sponsored by Yelp, is a fundraiser for the SF Food Bank and really, just another excuse to be with friends and meet new ones!
Here's a tidbit from the event site: Saturday, July 11th a group of friends who met through Yelp are throwing a BBQ at Lake Merced to benefit the SF Food Bank.
As everyone knows, we love to eat! Or, maybe we should say, “we live to eat.” In the past, this event has just been a group of friends getting together, enjoying food while raising money for the Food Bank. This is the first year that we are opening the event to anyone who'd like to come in hopes of BRINGING HOME THE BACON for the Food Bank. In addition to the normal homemade goodies, Clark Summit Farm in Tomales, CA has provided one of their heritage breed, livin’-the-good-life, and seriously tasty pigs for the festivities!
The details in a nutshell: Presales will cost you $20; it'll be $30 at the door. 100% of proceeds will be donated to the SF Food Bank.
Who wouldn't want in? For those interested in joining your fellow KAPS members in attending this event, please email christineyshin@gmail.com. We need ample notice to purchase presale tickets so don't wait!

We hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July BBQ as we had a great turnout with lots of fresh and familiar faces and good food. We had the opportunity to hang out in the sun with an amazing view of the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge in sight. Special thanks to everyone who brought the awesome food, treats, music, and fun! And a big shoutout to Jinuk, our Social Chair, who organized the event. The BBQ wouldn't have happened without him!
Missed out in the fun? Check out the photos from the event to see how much fun in the sun we had!
