Golf Tournament Invitation
The 2009 event will be held Monday, May 18th at the Boulder Ridge Golf Club in San Jose, CA. Registration, putting contest, and golf lessons from the PGA professional starting at 10am with a shotgun start at 12pm. The cost for this event is only $150 which will go toward entry into all events, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, lunch, dinner, wine and prizes. Additional activities are available (at cost) including a 100 yard pitching contest and games at various holes. Awards presentation and dinner directly after golf at the main dining room. KYOPO PROJECT FUNDRAISER AT VESSEL
New York artist Cindy Hwang has spent the past few years interviewing Kyopos in the United States and across the globe (www.KYOPOproject.com). She started with an MIT Professor of the brain and cognitive sciences, Genius award winner from the MacArthur Foundation, and 2008 Ho-Am prize winner – Sebastian Seung - who she met at the Cooper Museum in New York while on line. This 1st interview led to her study which now includes 220+ Kyopos. Cindy will showcase her work at the Smithsonian in DC next Spring, but she would really like to increase awareness and also publish a book of the essays and photographs of the Kyopos she interviewed.
KAPS is proud to announce a special fundraiser for the KYOPO Project being held at Vessel SF (85 Campton Pl, San Francisco 94108 – www.vesselsf.com) on Wednesday, May 6th, 2009, 6-9pm.
Guest Emcees and Keynote Speakers include: James Sun, NBC’s “The Apprentice” Finalist and CEO of Zoodango.com, Yul Kwon, CBS’ “Survivor: Cook Islands” winner and community leader, and Sue Kwon, reporter, CBS5 Eyewitness News.
Guest Performers include: Bobby Choy (Big Phony) – singer/songwriter, Maggie Kim – singer/songwriter and her band, and Susie Suh- singer/songwriter.
Silent and Live Auction include: Meals with Mayor Jun Choi and Yul Kwon, Autographed original jersey by Hines Ward, Ski Chalet one week vacation at the 5-star, 5-diamond Stein Erickson lodge, HBO DVD sets, etc.
Audience: Influentials, community and civic leaders, advice givers with global mindsets in the Asian community as well as non-Asians that support diversity found in Asian and American cultures.

REI CIRCLE PRESENTS “HOW TO EARN $10K/MONTH WITH REAL ESTATE”
REI Inner Circle Residential Group is hosting a one-day seminar to teach some proven methods for real estate investing, even with today’s trends. Join us at this free workshop to expand your knowledge, increase your skills and improve your confidence. This all day event will include relevant information on all three foreclosure types.
