Unfortunately, KAPS will no longer be attending this screening. Synopsis: In Korea's Chosun era, court maids live and work as virtual slaves in the palace of the emperor. When a maid is found hanging in her room, it is officially declared a suicide, however, Chun-ryung, a female court doctor, discovers clues that suggest murder. Although warned not to interfere with palace affairs, she investigates on her own, uncovering the harsh reality of court life.
