UC Berkeley KASA (Korean American Student Association) Annual Korean Culture Show

UC-Berkeley KASA's Culture Show will be on Saturday, April 26 at the Julia Morgan Theater (on College between Derby and Parker, in Berkeley). The show will begin promptly at 8PM.

This annual program showcases up-and-coming Korean-American talent (including a few of UC-Berkeley's own) and traditional Korean arts and culture.

Performers include:

Danny Cho, comedian
Jaysn Kim, comedian
Paul Kim, American Idol finalist
Hearan Chung, traditional Korean dancer

And many more!!!

Afterward, KAPS members will continue the celebration of Korean culture by consuming Korean cuisine and beverage at OB Chicken Town (6101 Telegraph Ave) in Oakland. For questions about the post-show get

Due to popularity of this screening, this movie has been set to RUSH STATUS meaning tickets are no longer available except 10 minutes before the screening where ticket can be purchased at a first come first serve basis. Unfortunately, KAPS will no longer be attending this screening.

Synopsis: In Korea's Chosun era, court maids live and work as virtual slaves in the palace of the emperor. When a maid is found hanging in her room, it is officially declared a suicide, however, Chun-ryung, a female court doctor, discovers clues that suggest murder. Although warned not to interfere with palace affairs, she investigates on her own, uncovering the harsh reality of court life.

KAPS will be attending a screening on Thursday, May 8 at 7:45PM at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas (corner of Post and Fillmore).
